What We Optimize During Prototyping

Assembly FitCheck covers, brackets, panels, fasteners and component clearances.
AirflowReview fan openings, ventilation patterns and heat-related structure.
Service AccessImprove removable panels, cable routing and maintenance clearance.
ManufacturabilityReview bends, welds, hardware and features that affect production cost.

Prototype Fabrication Capabilities

  • Laser cutting for profiles, openings, labels and ventilation
  • CNC bending for panels, covers, flanges and formed structures
  • Welding and hardware installation for multi-part assemblies
  • Surface finishing including powder coating, anodizing and marking
  • Mechanical assembly and fit verification where required

From Drawing to Production-Ready Prototype

1. Review the Enclosure LayoutConfirm internal components, openings, mounting points and service access.
2. Check the StructureReview thickness, bends, welds, fasteners, airflow and appearance requirements.
3. Build the PrototypeFabricate a sample or small batch for fit, function and assembly evaluation.
4. Record ImprovementsConfirmed changes can be applied to the production drawing and process.
5. Scale the QuantityMove to repeat production after the structure and requirements are approved.

Typical Structural Improvements

  • Adjust bend radii and flange dimensions for better forming results
  • Improve hole, connector and fastener locations for assembly
  • Reduce unnecessary parts, welds or hardware where practical
  • Reserve clearance for PCB, power supply and cable routing
  • Specify visible surfaces and finish requirements clearly

Materials and Finishes

AluminumLightweight housings and panels with anodizing or coating options.
Stainless SteelDurable enclosures for demanding industrial environments.
Carbon SteelRigid chassis and cases with powder coating or painting.
Galvanized SheetInternal structures, brackets and practical equipment parts.

Prototype to Repeat Production

A prototype can be used to verify dimensions, component fit, access and appearance before larger quantities are released. The production route and timing depend on part complexity, material, finishing, quantity and the level of revision required.

If the drawing is not final: send a sketch, reference photo, component layout or basic dimensions for an initial manufacturing discussion. Final production still requires confirmed technical information.

What to Send for Review

  • 2D drawing or 3D CAD model, if available
  • Material, sheet thickness and surface finish
  • Prototype and expected production quantity
  • Internal component layout and critical openings
  • Assembly, packaging and delivery requirements
