Forklift Access Design The following details help our engineers review the structure and manufacturing process for your handling application.
| Material & Finish | Carbon steel, galvanized steel, or stainless steel. Powder coating, zinc plating, or galvanizing can be specified to suit the material and operating environment. |
| Load & Base Structure | Provide the expected load and load distribution. Material thickness, reinforcement, feet, rails, open bases, and support frames are reviewed around these requirements. |
| Handling Access | Forklift or pallet jack openings are arranged according to the handling equipment, required lifting direction, and pallet layout. |
| Stacking Arrangement | Feet, guides, locating points, and supporting frames can be incorporated according to the specified storage and stacking arrangement. |
| Component Positioning | Custom brackets, stops, dividers, slots, and locating features can be added for the parts or assemblies being carried. |
| 01. Project Review | Confirm dimensions, material, load, handling method, stacking requirements, finish, and quantity. |
| 02. DFM Review | Review reinforcement, welding, fork access, component positioning, and assembly before fabrication. |
| 03. Fabrication | Laser cutting of sheet, plate, and structural components; CNC bending; machining where required; MIG / TIG welding; and assembly of feet, rails, brackets, and supports. |
| 04. Surface Finishing | Apply the agreed coating, plating, galvanizing, or other specified surface treatment. |
| 05. Inspection | Check critical dimensions and agreed structural features against the approved requirements. |
