Choose the Shape Around Your Assembly

L-Shaped Angle Brackets

Two flanges provide a mounting connection between adjacent surfaces. Specify flange lengths, hole positions and the required angle for cabinet corners, support plates or equipment mounts.

U-Shaped Mounting Brackets

A channel-shaped profile can support or locate a component between two side flanges. Inside width, flange parallelism and clearance around the mating part are important drawing details.

Z-Shaped Offset Brackets

Offset flanges connect mounting surfaces on different planes. Define the offset height, bend direction and mounting-hole relationship to suit panels, rails or enclosure supports.

Materials, Thickness and Finishing Options

• Steel and stainless steel: Carbon steel and stainless steel options according to strength, corrosion exposure and finishing requirements.

• Aluminum: 5052 and 6061 options. Alloy, temper and bend radius are reviewed together to assess forming suitability.

• Thickness: 1–10 mm, subject to material, bend length, part geometry and tooling review.

• Angles: 45°, 90°, 135° or custom angles. Show the intended angle and its tolerance on the drawing.

• Finishes: Brushing, powder coating, aluminum anodizing or steel zinc plating, selected for the specified material and application.

Drawing Details That Help Prevent Assembly Problems

• Identify the mounting faces and dimensions that control fit.

• Specify hole diameters, slots, threads and their positions relative to bends.

• Include inside bend radii, angle tolerances and any critical flange alignment.

• Mark surfaces that require cosmetic protection or coating masking.

• Share loading conditions where relevant. Load capacity requires assessment for the actual bracket and installation.

From Drawing Review to Finished Brackets

01. Engineering Review
Confirm dimensions, material, quantity, forming access and finishing requirements before production.

02. Cutting and Forming
Select laser cutting, punching or stamping and suitable bending operations for the part and order volume.

03. Secondary Processing
Include deburring, tapping and the agreed surface treatment where required.

04. Inspection and Packing
Check specified dimensions, hole locations, bend angles and appearance, then protect finished parts for shipment.
