Power Supply Housings and Cover Details

PSU housing geometry and exterior appearance options

Custom PSU housings can include formed bodies, removable covers, fan apertures, connector cutouts and mounting tabs. Drawings should define the module envelope and how the housing locates within the larger equipment.

Black and metallic appearance options are reviewed together with material, coating coverage and any areas that must remain uncoated.

Fabrication of Custom Metal Structures

Welded connections for sheet metal housings

Laser-cut profiles and opening patterns

Welded Assemblies: Joint locations and the welding approach follow the specified structure, with attention to final panel and mounting relationships.

Laser Cutting and Bending: Profiles, openings and perforated features are cut from CAD files, then formed according to drawing geometry.

Dimensional and Assembly Review

Checks can cover hole positions, folded geometry, cover fit, fastener installation and surface appearance. Critical dimensions and acceptance requirements should be identified before prototype or production release.

Materials and OEM Production Support

Material options include aluminum, carbon steel and stainless steel. Powder coating, plating, brushing or anodizing can be reviewed according to the material and drawing requirements.

Prototype, small batch and repeat production plans are reviewed from quantity, part geometry and assembly requirements.
