Shafts and Pins

Stepped diameters, grooves, shoulders and threads can be produced to the approved drawing.

Bushings and Sleeves

Inner and outer diameters, mating surfaces and concentricity requirements are reviewed together.

Combined Features

Cross holes, flats or milled interfaces can be planned with secondary or mill-turn operations where suitable.

Materials and Finishes

Stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper alloys, titanium and engineering plastics can be evaluated with the specified finish.

From Drawing to Finished Turned Part

Drawing review

Confirm functional diameters, threads, surface requirements, quantity and material grade.

Process planning

Select the CNC lathe, tooling, workholding and any secondary machining needed for the part.

Machining and finishing

Turn the part, deburr edges and arrange any specified surface treatment or assembly work.

Inspection

Check agreed dimensions and functional features against the approved drawing before shipment.

Specify critical features clearly. Achievable tolerance depends on geometry, material, length-to-diameter ratio and inspection method. Requirements such as ±0.01 mm are assessed feature by feature during drawing review.
